PERANCANGAN APLIKASI PENERIMAAN PESERTA DIDIK BARU (PPDB) ONLINE BERBASIS WEBSITE (Studi Kasus: SMK Widya Karya Purwokerto)

Admission of new students is one of the existing processes in educational institutions such as schools that are useful for screening prospective students who are selected according to the criteria determined by the school to be students. In general, the process of admission of new students is done through the stages of registration, selection and announcement of acceptance of students. The purpose of this study is that students can register without having to attend school. The research method used is observation, interview, literature study and documentation. System development method used is Waterfal model. This new student admissions information system is built with PHP programming language as well as utilizing MySQL database as database server. The results of this study is a new web-based admissions information system that has the ability to provide convenience for parents of new prospective students to obtain all information about the admission of new students and conduct the online registration process.
