APLIKASI E-LEARNING BERBASIS WEBSITE MENGGUNAKAN FRAMEWORK CODEIGNITER (Studi Kasus: Universitas Amikom Purwokerto)

The rapid development of technology at this time is able to have a positive impact on humans, besides being able to be used to facilitate work matters, technology can also facilitate various activities, one of which is teaching and learning activities. Amikom University Purwokerto is one of the higher education institutions in the field of information and technology in the city of Purwokerto, teaching and learning activities on this campus already have a website facility called Amikom Purwokerto online lectures, this website is intended to facilitate students and lecturers in conducting teaching and learning activities when it is not possible to meet face to face according to existing rules, but at this time many students and lecturers complain about the difficulty of using existing e-learning websites, this is reinforced by the results of the analysis using the questionnaire method that the researchers did, namely the level of user satisfaction is 29.97%, so researchers are interested in conducting a study entitled "Website-based e-learning applications using the codeignither framework" to evaluate existing e-learning websites in order to create an e-learning website that is easier to use. The system development method used in this research is a prototype model. In this study, researchers only focused on websites that were easy to use and the results of this study were a website-based e-learning application using the codeigniter framework at Amikom University, Purwokerto.
