APLIKASI PEMESANAN MOBIL BERBASIS WEBSITE PADA RENTAL MOBIL JAYA MANDIRI

RENTAL MOBIL JAYA MANDIRI is a division of Jaya Mandiri Group which is engaged in car rental, the problem that occurs is when consumers want to see the availability of cars, order a car without having to come to the location. For managers, researchers find problems, namely the system of recording transactions and receipts still using manual systems or using handwritten books. The purpose of this study is to build a website-based car rental booking application that can facilitate consumers to order car rental units online and make it easier for owners to manage their car rental business. This study uses descriptive method with a case study approach to Jaya Mandiri Car Rental. Whereas research sources with data collection methods are carried out by means of observation and interviews. The method used in the development of this system is a standard process that is followed to carry out all the steps needed to analyze, design, implement and maintain an application system. The basis of the life of the application development used is the waterfall model. This model needs sequential or sequential software development life flow approach starting from analysis, design, coding and testing. The software used to build this application is Notepad ++, Sublime Text 3. The programming language used is PHP with the CodeIgniter framework using a MySQL server database. With the construction of an Online Car Booking Application in Jaya Mandiri Car Rental based on this website, it is expected to assist the admin or in the rental process of the car rental unit and return and facilitate the process of recording transactions.
