RANCANG BANGUN APLIKASI KAMUS BAHASA BANYUMAS SEBAGAI MEDIA PELESTARIAN BUDAYA BERBASIS WEBSITE (Studi Kasus: Dinas Arsip dan Perpustakaan Daerah Purwokerto)

Language is the most important communication tool in interacting with anyone in the world. One language is regional language. Banyumas language is one of the regional languages owned by the Indonesian people. Local language teaching for students is an activity process that is directed to encourage, guide, develop and foster regional language skills. In language learning to understand the meaning and how to use the right vocabulary, in general the teacher will ask students to search for the vocabulary in the language dictionary. The language dictionary that we have been familiar with is a book dictionary with a large and thick size so it is not comfortable to carry. The difficulty in obtaining, carrying and utilizing the Banyumasan Language dictionary in book form has encouraged the emergence of dictionary software. Therefore, the author makes an application for the Banyumas Language dictionary website to help students to easily use and get a language dictionary using the waterfall method. This method is one method to create a website-based application to make it easier for everyone to access the Banyumas Language dictionary application. The results of this study are a website application that provides Banyumas language dictionaries that can be accessed by anyone, anytime and anywhere via the internet network.
