Abstract

Inventory system is a system for managing inventory in warehouse. Inventory system is now widely used by developing companies in general, especially in terms of data processing of goods. UD. Limbah Mulia engaged in the sale of used goods located on Jl. Gunung Tugel Rt 04/08 Karang Klesem, Purwokerto Selatan where good and effective performance activities must be maintained and improved. With the making of this information system aims to find out the data of goods and inventory items such as management, search, entry and exit of goods, and report data of goods when needed by the company. Based on these problems, the company has a desire to make good use of information technology through the construction of an inventory system, because the system of processing data items in warehouses is not yet felt optimally by the company. The inventory system uses the FIFO (First In First Out) method to regulate the flow of goods in and out of warehouses. The flow method used is UML (Unified Modeling Language). Programming languages use Visual Basic.Net, and the MYSQL database. The system is built with user friendly, so the system is equipped with an interface that is easily understood and made as attractive as possible.
