Abstract

Bawor Batik is one of the batik originating from Banyumas Regency precisely in the Village of Sokaraja which was founded by a painting artist named Mr. Ahmad Taefur. Batik Bawor was founded in 2001 and until now Batik Bawor is still consistent with traditional methods for the manufacturing process. One of the problems that occur in Bawor Batik is the introduction system and education system for students and buyers who come about the motives and philosophical values of the types of motifs that exist in Bawor Batik. The purpose of making an educational video about Bawor batik is to help Mr. Taefur to educate students or buyers who come so that he does not repeatedly explain about the batik. This study uses data collection methods, namely observation and interviews with the owner of Batik Bawor, for the system development method which is carried out using a system development according to M. Suyanto (2006) which has 3 stages, namely Pre Production, Production, Post Production. The results of this study are in the form of video Introduction of Banyumasan Batik Using the Application of the Chinemagraph Technique as an Educational Media for Introduction to Banyumasan Batik. The results of this study are in the form of Banyumasan batik education videos using the Chinemagraph technique. Testing in making this video uses alpha test which is directly tested by the resource person who owns Batik Bawor.
