RANCANG BANGUN APLIKASI MULTIMEDIA SEBAGAI SARANA SOSIALISASI PENCEGAHAN DEMAM BERDARAH DENGUE (DBD) BERBASIS ANDROID (Studi Kasus: Puskesmas Kalibagor)

In Indonesia DHF has been a public health problem for 41 years. Epidemic cycles occur every year, poor community participation in mosquito nest eradication (PSN) activities as well as population growth and increased population mobility make the spread of dengue virus more easily and widely. Based on the record of Clinic Kalibagor, in District Kalibagor dengue disease increased in 2016 with the number of cases as much as 65 compared to the year 2014 as many as 16 cases. Based on interviews with extension officers at Clinic Kalibagor and surveys conducted by the authors, community knowledge about the causes, symptoms and consequences caused by dengue fever is still lacking, this is related to the absence of media information to the public. At this time extension techniques still rely on oral delivery. This is considered not so well understood by the community. Therefore, information media is needed as a means of supporting the extension to the public. The purpose of this study is to create a supporting information media dengue fever in the form of multimedia applications dengue prevention based dengue android. The method used is the Luther-Sutopo Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) methodology. The results of this study is the application of multimedia as a means of socialization prevention dengue-based dengue dengue which is used as a media support dengue fever extension in Kalibagor Health Center.
