Abstract

One of the innovations that will be used for learning to get to know the planets in the solar system in support of KBM is Augmented Reality (AR), which is the merger between the real world and the virtual world, where virtual objects are overlayed on the real world. Technically, augmented reality technology is a transformative technology, where the interaction system covers the entire environment beyond the screen display. In terms of strategic, the use of augmented reality technology-based images is very useful in improving the learning process of teaching because Augmented Reality technology has entertainment aspects that can stir students' interest to understand concretely about general knowledge of usability through 3D visual representation by engaging user interaction in augmented reality frames. The author designed an Augmented Reality App as a learning medium using an open-source licensed Blender program so that it can be downloaded directly on its site. Modelling, texturing and gaming are processes in the creation of such learning systems. Modelling is the process of making the object of the Solar System and its planets, the phenomenon of lunar eclipses and solar eclipses into 3-dimensional virtual, texturing is the process of coloring the created 3-dimensional object and Gaming is the process of creating a system so that it can be run interactively.
