SISTEM INFORMASI PENJADWALAN SEMINAR KERJA PRAKTIK UNIVERSITAS AMIKOM PURWOKERTO BERBASIS WEBSITE

One indicator of student progress at the Amikom Purwokerto University is the implementation of practical assignment exams and one of the implementation techniques is a practical work seminar (KP). In the current KP seminar scheduling system, the scheduling process still uses Microsoft Excel which makes sending and receiving data less real-time. The confirmation process carried out by the Study Program to the examiner lecturers also seemed to burden the Study Program because the Study Program was required to contact the selected lecturers one by one. Therefore, this study aims to create a KP seminar scheduling information system that is expected to help BAA and Study Program in scheduling KP seminars. Data collection methods used were literature study, interviews and observations. While the system development method used is Prototyping. The results of this study are in the form of a prototype website of the Amikom Purwokerto University which is devoted to scheduling KP seminars by having the feature of sending confirmation to lecturers who will test via email.
