Abstract

Amikom Purwokerto University is one of the tertiary institutions that has used information technology a lot, but for data collection of goods in the form of assets that have not been maximized in utilizing information technology, data collection currently still uses MS Office, starting from recording the type of goods, origin of goods, goods data, and reports. Apart from that, another problem is that there is no computerized system for processing asset data, so that it is difficult to collect asset data, search for data, and generate reports. Therefore the researchers conducted this research to build a web-based inventory application with the waterfall model so that it becomes a more optimal and better computerized system. This system is tested to minimize errors (errors) using blackbox testing techniques. The results obtained from the development of this web-based inventory application are that it can make it easier for users to record incoming goods so that the data presented is more accurate and relevant.
