SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN PEMILIHAN INDEKOS TERBAIK DI SEKITAR KAMPUS MENGGGUNAKAN METODE TOPSIS (Studi Kasus: Indekos Di Kelurahan Purwanegara)

A boarding house or commonly known as a boarding house is a place where accommodation services or temporary housing are provided and consists of several rooms, each of which is equipped with facilities provided by the owner of the boarding house. With so many students who come from outside the city who want to seek knowledge, there are many boarding houses that are competing to offer their boarding houses with predetermined criteria. Of course, with the many existing boarding houses, students are confused in determining the best boarding house and to be occupied. In order to overcome this problem, a decision support system website is needed that can assist students in determining their residence or boarding house using the Topsis method (Technique For Order Of Preference By Similarity To Ideal Solution). In designing this system using several tools such as DFD and ERD. The system development method used is waterfall and in conducting system testing the blackbox testing method is used. The purpose of the research is to make a decision support system for choosing the best boarding house, avoiding the wrong thing in choosing a boarding house. The criteria used in the study were facilities, cost, comfort, security, distance, cleanliness. Based on the questionnaire that has been tested with an average result of 82,76% so it is included in the category of strongly agree, so the decision support system for choosing the best boarding house around campus.
