Abstract

3D animation is able to convey complex concepts into easy-to-understand concepts. In addition, the existing 3D technology is more realistic and similar to objects in the real world. In producing a 3D animation film generally divided into three stages, namely Pre-Production, Production, and Post-Production with the stage of making the animation requires a long time such as the rendering process. The rendering process can take a long time to render a frame in three-dimensional animation. The more detail or the more number of textures used, the more time is needed and the results of large rendering, to accelerate the rendering process using the V-Ray rendering process which provides uncompromising stability, interactivity, ease of use and speed that has never been happened before. For this reason, rendering V Ray with a 3-dimensional animation entitled "spoonful of honey for the king of bees" is applied and the V-Ray rendering results require 23 seconds per frame, while in V-Ray it takes 19 seconds per frame. This may be a slight difference if the comparison is for one frame, but if this is applied to the animation, the total rendering of more than one hundred frames will show a significant time difference.
