Abstract

Motorbikes are one of the largest vehicles in Indonesia. The increasing volume of the motorbike can also increase the number of victims of a single accident. Many factors can cause a single accident, including human error. The purpose of this study is to create a safety system and an emergency system in vehicles. In the observations and literature studies conducted by the author, a problem was found where many factors can cause a single accident on a quiet road so that the victim is not treated immediately. This study uses Arduino and Android as an emergency and security system. The results of this study are Android and Arduino connected via a Bluetooth sensor. Android is used to scan barcodes as a vehicle security system. The emergency system on a smartphone is used by pressing the emergency button so that the victim can send a message directly to the number that has been registered. While the Arduino emergency system uses an accelerometer sensor as a reference value for an emergency system. When the value on the accelerometer sensor changes significantly, the GPS module sends location data to the GSM module, then the GSM module sends location data to the registered number. To record and store activity on the sensor, SD card module is used.
