Abstract

Freshwater aquaculture especially carp, has an important role in the economy of the Indonesian people. Pokdakan Gurame 1 in Beji Village, Kedungbanteng District, Banyumas Regency is one of the gouramy aquaculture groups that some of the people make this freshwater aquaculture as a strategic subsector in meeting economic needs. Aside from fish, Pokdakan Gurame 1 Beji Village also focuses on selling gouramy eggs. Currently in the process of calculating the number of carp eggs the aquaculture entrepreneurs still use conventional methods, namely using coconut milk filters or small cups. This method results in fatigue and inaccuracies in the results of calculations. This study aims to automatically build an Android gourmet fish egg counter application based on Android. This study uses qualitative research and prototype development methods. The method used is the color detection method and contour. The number of carp eggs obtained based on the color detected is based on color parameters that have been determined by researchers. The application testing method for calculating carp eggs uses a black box testing that focuses on the specific functions of the application. The test results obtained that the best object taking is with a distance of <10 cm with moderate lighting.
