Abstract

Motorcycle is a mode of transportation which is mostly used by Indonesian citizens with a large population in Indonesia which is quite attractive for automotive manufacturers to market automotive type motorcycle products. Many motorcycle users are office workers, students, traders, couriers ,motorbike taxi online and hobbies. The increasing number of motorbikes is accompanied by the large number of vehicle theft, automotive manufacturers have given new innovations but only in the middle to upper series while the Indonesian people like cheap and good, and class motorcycles like that the security system is still lacking. Many cases of motorcycle theft by using demonic fluid and modified T locks, many of the motorcycle users add additional keys such as padlock discs, brake lever lock, and other secret keys that are not practical. To help solve these problems, research was conducted to make a system tool smart key on a motorcycle with Arduino Nano by implementing it on a motorcycle. The method used by researchers is the prototype method. From the results of testing the tool works well according to plan.
