Abstract

Laboratory / studio is one of the supporting facilities for expertise / vocational activities in Vocational High Schools (SMK). SMK YPT 2 Purbalingga can be said as the ICT Center in Purbalingga still using books in the data collection and recording of borrowing Multimedia Studio equipment. The research was designed with the aim of (1) developing a web-based lending system as a medium for borrowing multimedia equipment in SMK YPT 2 Purbalingga and (2) knowing the feasibility of a web-based lending system as a medium for multimedia equipment lending services at SMK YPT 2 Purbalingga. This study uses a descriptive method with a case study approach at SMK YPT 2 Purbalingga. While the source of research with data collection is done by means of observation, interviews, and data collection. The method used is followed to carry out all the steps needed to analyze, design, implement, and maintain an information system. The basic life of the system development used is a linear sequential or waterfall model. This model needs a sequential or sequential software flow approach starting from analysis, design, coding, testing, and supporting stages. With the design of a web-based information system is expected to help admin in the process of borrowing and returns and can facilitate the admin in making recapitulation.
