Abstract

A new industrial revolution called Industry 4.0 has emerged. This phenomenom greatly made an impact towards the Republic of Indonesia, which is why the nation are setting up strategic movements` One of the movement is the empowerment called UMKM (Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah). Batik Bawor is one of the micro bussinesses which inovate batik tulis product on a T-Shirt named Batees (Bawor Tees). One of the problems in the product creation is the designing process where the design must be divided into several parts so that it made it possible to be printed by a general Inkjet Printer and traced down manually by a pencil to the shirt. The manual tracing process often conducing some errors, wasting too many papers and costly unefficient. The method used in this research is prototype. The goal of this research is the implementation of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine based on Arduino to trace down the digital design onto the shirt in order to achieve the effectivity and efficiency of Batees’s T-Shirt creation. After testing the CNC machine three times to trace a digital 10 cm x 10 cm square vector, it generates a 10 cm x 10 cm square sketch in the first attempts, 10 cm x 10.1 cm in the second and 10.1 cm x 10 cm in the third ones. The machine also able to trace down a circle with 5 cm diameter in 30 seconds, a 3 cm x 3 cm wave pattern in 2 minutes and 40 seconds also the University of Amikom Purwokerto’s logo with 10x10 cm dimension in 10 minutes and 27 seconds.
