Abstract

Sanggar Angklung Gandhi is a place of making traditional musical instruments made from bamboo raw materials which are located in Karangnanas Village, Kec. Sokaraja, Banyumas Regency, Central Java. One of them is the angklung instrument. The process of making angklung requires a long process. Through several stages of the selection of raw materials, namely bamboo. Bamboo raw material for making angklung must be chosen based on bamboo which is around 3-5 years old so that the sound produced is good. After the bamboo cutting process, the bamboo must be allowed to stand for 6 months so that the bamboo is dry and does not contain water. The process of cutting bamboo itself must be done in the dry season to avoid the weathering of the bamboo. After settling for 6 months, the bamboo is ready to be made into angklung. By looking at the problems faced, the researchers tried to provide solutions to make electrical angklung. This electric Angklung uses the Arduino Mega 2560 as the controller, using the piezoelectric sensor as the sensor. The method used in developing this system is the method waterfall. The results obtained in this study are Arduino Mega 2560-based electric angklung by utilizing a piezoelectric sensor as the sensor. This electric Angklung has the same sound as the original and is fast in the manufacturing process.
