Abstract

Suparti's chicken egg farm is located in the village of Gebangsari, Tambak District, Banyumas Regency. Laying hens are farmed totaling ± 150 tails. One chicken lays an average of one to two eggs per day with total production in one day reaching ± 120 eggs. But in egg calculation is still manually, which is one by one the results of chicken eggs from each chicken are counted and recorded in a notebook. The logbook contains records of chicken egg production in one farm enclosure. So it takes a lot of time that requires resources in the form of notebooks and stationery and accuracy is required. In terms of human resources, Ibu Suparti's farm is only two people responsible for maintaining and counting and monitoring chicken productivity. In monitoring the productivity of laying hens, Ibu Suparti relied on egg production logbooks. The purpose of this study is to make a prototype of android-based chicken egg calculation in realtime. The system development method used in this research is the prototyping system development method. The prototype test results of this tool can count 16x2 LCD eggs and android applications.
