Abstract

IT-based information services in the internal scope of schools generally include hardware and software supporting academic activities. SMA Negeri 1 Maos is one of the top-ranking schools that utilize information technology in the business processes carried out at the school including student academic services, libraries and finance. From a statement expressed by the Head of Maos 1 Public High School, the author recommends an audit of the use of information technology in Maos 1 Public High School. The audit aims to measure how big the role of information technology is in supporting the achievement of school goals effectively and efficiently, measuring whether the information is already well managed. An IT governance audit at SMA Negeri 1 Maos was conducted with COBIT 5 with domain selection based on enterprise mapping goals and IT related goals. The results of this study are in the form of recommendations from the findings and in accordance with the achievement of the gap that will be targeted.
