Abstract

New Magelang Putra Workshop is a business engaged in the automotive sector. New Magelang Putra Workshop serves car maintenance services or car body service business. The transaction system that has been running on New Magelang Putra is still conventional and has not been computerized. From the system that has been running so far, New Magelang Putra experiences problems including difficulties in finding transaction data because they have to search one by one on the transaction memorandum attached to the agenda book when consumers come back to pay their vehicle service payments, difficulties if there are transaction changes, and difficulties making transaction reports. The solution to these problems is to build a Service Payment Application Application at New Magelang Putra Purbalingga Workshop Based on Desktop with Sms Gateway. The purpose of this research is to develop applications with features to manage product data, customer data, employee data, transactions, SMS gateway, repayment and report generation. This application was built using the SDLC Waterfall development method. The design of this application uses a unified modeling language (UML) diagram that is used including case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams. In this study the data collection techniques used were interviews, library research, documentation, and questionnaires. The programming language used is Visual Basic, and MySQL as a database. This research resulted in the application of Service Payment Payment at New Magelang Putra Purbalingga Workshop with Desktop Based with Sms Gateway that can be used to manage product data, customer data, employee data, transactions, Sms Gateway, payment and report making.
