Abstract

Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto (UMP) is the largest campus in the western part of Java, that accreditation B. One of the faculties in the UMP is a Faculty Science Health. Facilities and infrastructure lectures adequate is an important factor in support teaching and learning process. Facilities such as practice tools and measuring instruments have a great risk to damage and loss, so we need a system loaning equipment good order data the borrower and the presence of equipment can be known. With the condition of students which every year has increased, the application of a manual system already inefficient and ineffective to apply. As the development of information technology, change humans in completing their work to solve the problem at hand. Fast and accurate information in decision making the right one needs to be developed data processing system of borrowing and repayment good equipment. Results of research data collection, researchers use interview techniques, documentation, and literature studies found a solution in the form of SIMPLE UMP Android based applications, by using QR Code technology and real time notifications. So in this study made an information system computer-based and mobile Android which can help management laboratory equipment so that loan and return process can be more effective. The SIMPEL UMP application was developed using methods developed SDLC Waterfall system. The waterfall method provides life flow approach software sequentially or sequentially starting from analysis, design, coding, testing, and support stage or maintenance. Blackbox testing results against the application shows almost all features work well in accordance with the expectations of the author. Then, seen from the results of the questionnaire which was distributed to 59 residents Faculty of Health Sciences UMP percentage obtained by 94.32% and classified in good criteria. Applications SIMPEL UMP as an application the search process, borrowing, and return of equipment laboratory feasible applied for help students, lecturers, and laboratory staff in the process of searching, borrowing and returning equipment as well as efforts improve the quality of laboratory services.
