Abstract

Augmented Reality is a combination technology between virtual and real world, augmented reality is part of Virtual Enviroemnt technology or more often referred to as Virtual Reality (VR). This technology can be used to increase public interest and streamline promotional media for tourist attractions, one of which is Caping Park tourist spot. Taking into account the various aspects above, the use of Augmented Reality is deemed necessary to be implemented at Caping Park tourist sites as a promotional medium. Therefore the author will make an augmented reality model feature that will provide support for detailed information on tourist locations and tourist guides at Caping Park. This Study intend to apply the features of the augmented reality model as a media for detailed information on Caping Park tourist locations that can help in promoting Caping Park to be more interesting. The method used in this study is to use a method according to Luther-Sutopo which includes six stages, namely concept, design, collecting materials, assembly, testing, and distribution. The results of this study in the form of augmented reality model future a detailed information media on Caping Park tourist locations using Android SmartPhone.
