Abstract

Javanese script is one of the cultural heritage that is priceless. In an effort to keep the cultural heritage, a medium of learning about Javanese script can be presented by utilizing smartphone technology with android based learning method. The use of android-based learning method can help facilitate teachers in teaching and learning process, and the use of smartphones are increasingly compared to desktop-based, therefore we make an application-based learning android to facilitate teachers in teaching and learning process materials Javanese script. The purpose of this research is to design the application as a medium of learning tool of Javanese based akasara android for grade 3 SD students using Java language audio in order to facilitate in delivering Javanese script material, not only audio only but this application also equipped with pazzle game which can test to what extent ability in digesting the learning that students have learned. Data collection methods used were interviews and literature study. The system development methodology used in this research is MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) with Luther - Sutopo version. The results of this study is the formation of Application "SIRAJA" As A Media Toolkit Learning Akasara Java-Based Android For Students Class 3 SD.
