Abstract

The development of photography has raised the production of DSLR cameras with a variety of features as needed. The problems arise as consumers who will buy the product feel confused to choose the product that suits their desires, so it is no wonder that consumers choose the DSLR camera that suits their needs because they are confused by the number of specifications given. To make it easier for consumers to choose a DSLR camera that suits consumers' desires, a decision support system was made for the selection of DSLR cameras using simple additive weighting methods and weighted products. The use of simple additive weighting method and weighted product in decision support systems is one way of solving problems that can handle this, where the input criteria is qualitative language. The criteria used include megapixels, video resolution, ISO, number of focus points and shutter speed. The results obtained from this study are in the form of a DSLR camera data ranking and it provides recommendations for DSLR cameras that are in accordance with consumer criteria from the system results
