PENERAPAN ALGORITMA FISHER YATES SHUFFLE PADA APLIKASI TOEFL PREPARATION BERBASIS WEB UNTUK ENGLISH COURSE BRITANIA PURWOKERTO

The course institution known as the Course and Training Institute is a form of non-formal education organized for people who need educational services as a substitute, addition to, and complement to formal education. Britain Purwokerto is an English language course based in Banyumas Regency. The English Language Course Institute is a non-formal English language training institution, at present it is very much needed in the field of workforce and academics. The ability to speak English for someone is important because this skill is starting to be taken into account in the world of education and the world of work. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is the standard English language test used in Indonesia. TEOFL is issued and developed by ETS (Education Testing Service). With the rapid development of technology, many web applications provide a means of learning, training and online examinations. To provide a different sort order for the question position, thus giving a different order if played by more than one person. An algorithm is used to help place the questions without the position of the questions in the same order. An algorithm is needed. The algorithm for randomizing the questions used is the fisher yates shuffle algorithm, which is an algorithm to produce pickle permutations from a finite set. The permutation produced by fisher yates shuffle has the same level of probability. The purpose of this research is to make an application of the Fisher Yates Shuffle algorithm in the web-based TOEFL application. The method used to develop applications uses the Extreme Programming (XP) method. This research has succeeded in making an application that implements the Fisher Yates Shuffle algorithm that can randomization of problems automatically.
