Abstract

Motion comic is a combination of a traditional comic grid with animation elements, including animated transitions, panning and zooming in details, and with the soundtrack. Motion comic is made more to make pre-existing comics with a new look, with a multimedia display. Images from existing comics are moved, then given an animated effect. Usually given balloons containing words and voiced according to the character of the perpetrator. The output from motion comic is in the form of video. Traditional games in the archipelago have great potential as ideas for making motion comic stories. By promoting Traditional Games, both theme and visual in motion comics, through motion comics can participate in introducing traditional games to the audience and strengthen the identity of the Indonesian nation as a nation that is rich in traditional culture and can entertain the audience after watching motion comic video shows. The method used in this research is the Principle of Comics and Infinite Canvas.
