APLIKASI PRESENSI SISWA MENGGUNAKAN FRAMEWORK CODEIGNITER DAN SMS GATEWAY DI SMK PURNAMA 2 GOMBONG

Presence is one of the activities that support activities in learning. One of the concerns of the presence itself is data retrieval related to student attendance which can later be used by the school to report on student discipline to the parents. Purnama 2 Gombong Vocational School is one of the schools that applies a presence system to record student attendance. The absence of information media that is used to report attendance to parents / guardians of students makes the school only report on attendance when parents come to school and when taking report cards. the research method in this thesis is the method of data collection and the method of system development. system development method used is the SDLC waterfall model. The testing method used in this study uses a blackbox that focuses on specific functions in the application being designed. The application uses a codeigniter framework and SMS gateway uses Gammu as a library needed for making applications. With the application to report student attendance to parents can handle issues related to student attendance and presence reporting at SMK Purnama 2 Gombong
