Abstract

These motorbikes are an important means of transportation for most people because the benefits and convenience that motorbike riders get can provide a serious threat with the increasing number of traffic accidents. Not to mention the negligence and lack of supervision of parents who allow underage children to ride motorbikes because they do not have stable emotions so that they can endanger other road users. Based on the existing problems, it encourages writers to create a motorcycle security system by utilizing e-KTP which aims at motorcycle safety and minimizing underage motorbike riders. This study uses data collection, observation, and development methods, namely literature studies, system pre-design, system component selection, program making, system device requirements analysis, component assembly and program transfer, implementation, system testing and conclusions. This tool will work to replace the manual keys used by motorcycles so far. First, when the switch of the motor contact switch is activated, the reading of the battery capacity measurement will be read on the battery voltage display and the Arduino Nano communication configuration that is as the main controller system, 16x2 LCD which functions as the system interface with the user, RFID reader will read the ID chip contained in Configured e-KTP, e-KTP can be read well by RFID if it is at a distance of 3cm after that selenoid will open or the handlebar lock is not locked then the buzzer sound will appear and also the LED light indicator will light indicating the motorcycle is in a condition ready to turn on then the engine temperature reading on the LCD turns on, and relay ON so that the motor is ready for use. And vice versa when the e-KTP ID is not registered, the system will not work, selenoid will automatically lock the handlebar and the motorcycle cannot be turned on.
