Abstract

Damage that can occur suddenly and cannot be directly detected by car owners due to lack of knowledge about car engines makes car users confused and panicked and cannot handle their car for a while before the damaged car is taken to the nearest repair shop. From the technician's point of view, each technician has different experiences and abilities in solving damage problems that occur in customer cars, especially for new technicians, this makes the time needed to handle customer cars longer. This study aims to create an expert system for diagnosing Nissan cars. This is useful for helping Nissan car users and technicians identify vehicle breakdowns early and provide information on tips for handling them.
