Abstract

The Scout Movement is a forum for guidance and development for scout members. One of the activities in Scouting is the scouting skill which includes Morse and Semaphore. Scout encodings such as Morse password and Semaphore are examples of initial forms of digital communication delivered on the basis of the confidentiality of messages that must be studied by scout members as a General Skill Requirement. The purpose of this study is to design a arduino-based semaphore and morse learning robot with an android application as a control medium that is expected to be a learning media and useful as an attractive teaching aids and can add interest to scout members to learn semaphore and morse passwords. The Development Method used in this study is the waterfall method. The results of this study are a system in the form of a robot "KOMAR SCOUTY CODE" Learning Robot Semaphore and Morse Based on Arduino and Android Application as a controller to increase interest for scout members in studying semaphore and morse that have been through unit testing and show all features are running well and acceptance testing which shows that the system created can be accepted by scout members.
