Abstract

One of the nasty computers that exist is an image change file that spreads a lot on the internet without us knowing it. Required methods are needed to analyze image files. Of the many methods available, one of them is Error Level Analysis (ELA). The purpose of this study is the results of research implementation of the Error Level Analysis method that is useful for analyzing image files. This study uses the SDLC Waterfall development model and also modeling this application using the Unifed Model Language (UML). Also used the Metadata supported method and evaluation using Mean Squared Error (MSE) and Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR). The results of this study are that in the ELA experiment changes with more attractive colors can be identified parts that are edited with a clearer heatmap, while the images are edited by having less attractive color changes, changes in small parts and also changes with the same object as Accessible images cannot be recognized when viewed directly.
