Abstract

The development of technology at this time runs so fast that it gives changes to human life. The development of technology has an effect on almost all fields, starting from agriculture, plantation, corporate industry, to the influence on the world of education. Pemalang 1 Muhammadiyah Vocational School is an educational facility that plays a role in producing semi-professional workers who are ready to work in the world of work and business. The educational institution still uses the presence method with the old way of using paper as a medium for recording attendance. This problem underlying the research and development of information, communication, and identification technology about student presence systems with RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology. The research method used in the construction of this application is the Prototype model. This model approaches systematically and sequentially starting from the stage of Need Analysis, Making Prototype, Prototype Evaluation, Coding system, System testing, System evaluation.
