EVALUASI KEGUNAAN APLIKASI LONTARA MENGGUNAKAN METODE USABILITY TESTING

The Lontara application is a service provider application for e-book readers who like to read books. The Lontara application is available on the Play Store with 10 thousand downloads and a rating of 3.6. Therefore, an evaluation is needed to find existing problems and can improve Lontara application services. The evaluation used by the author uses the usability testing method using the System Usability Scale (SUS). Usability Testing is one of the Usability evaluation methods, which is used for product applications by conducting direct testing on users. The purpose of this research is the development of the Lontara application with Usability Testing which can later be used as input for the Lontara application development process. The results of this study are the results for the learnability component of 4.01, for efficiency of 3.98, for memorability of 3.90, for error of 3.95 and for satisfaction of 3.89, from the average results of these components. then the score is 3.94 with good assessment criteria. So it can be said that the Lontara application can be used as a reference for book readers who want to read e-books, but there needs to be improvements in several features that can increase user satisfaction in order to get a better rating.
