Abstract

An expert system is a system that is built to replace an expert in handling problems to make a decision without the need to communicate directly with the expert but get the same answer as the expert's answer. The use of expert systems in the world of gadget repair has also evolved over time. Expert systems based on backward chaining make decisions by throwing hypotheses and then equating them with existing facts. Website-based expert system is a solution to reduce the crowd of customers at CAPS who only check for iPhone damage. Because the expert system the customer does not need to come to the store just to check the repair device and thereby minimize the possibility of exposure to COVID-19 that can be spread by means of physical contact and a lot of crowd.
